She started her acting career in student films and community theaters. She won a scholarship for Second City Chicago and signed with Big Mouth Talent and Management.

She starred as Hannah in the short film Mulatto. One of the first appearances she has made within her acting career was in a short titled, "Khali's Homeschool Hijinx" relased in 2016.
